LOST FOR WORDS!!!
You know,
There are some times when I am at a lost for words, those rare occasions when I don't have anything to say about somethings. Now is not one of those occasions. Rather, I have so much to say but barely an idea of how to say it. Just write it down you say? Well, if only it were that simple...but I believe that the method of presentation is equally, if not more important than the content of what is being presented (strictly in my context of course!). What I mean to say is, I'm sure you've all gone through a period in life where you felt a very strong urge to express an opinion/recount an experience but when you actually do, it somehow sounds less important...maybe even somewhat deflated. But the problem is not even the words really, as much as it is this childish, though strangely needed sense of secrecy which, in turn calls for a need of several coded words and ambiguous phrases, none of which I can think of at this moment.
Oh woe, sometimes I truly question my passions in life...it seems that, like parts of my personality and being, that I have different aspirations when it comes to different people. Like, one group of friends will say that I am good in one thing, another will attest that my passions were something else...and perhaps they're not wrong. After all, I met these people, and indeed identified with them closely at various points of my life. Perhaps there really IS no fix sense of truth; no one person that we really are. Indeed, there are things which almost always seem to conform to a universal truth (which in itself was constructed). So where does that leave us when we take away all the constructs, and all the imposed truths. What part of what I want is really "me" ?
I believe that answer is beyond humans at this point. I mean, maybe the only "true self" is the self borne by pure instinctual purpose as opposed to reason. Maybe it's animals who are being most true to who they are. Just maybe.
PEACE OUT
